This platform uses an integrated chat system that works in tandem with the website, and it assists our experts in generating comprehensive risk reports.
Our generative AI platform uses proprietary data in its report-creation process, providing a powerful risk analysis service to support our expert review.
These reports are read, edited, and approved by human experts before being sent directly to the relevant insurer.
Privacy and personal information
VimbaRisk processes personal information to run this platform, provide risk assessments, and respond to enquiries. This summary does not replace legal advice. A draft record of processing activities and sub-processors is maintained internally for compliance review (see the project docs/ folder in the repository, not necessarily exposed on the public site).
What we collect
- Account details (name, email, phone, password hash, user type).
- Business profile and risk-assessment content you or your organisation provide.
- Contact form submissions.
- Technical data needed to operate the service (for example session identifiers).
Processors and automation
Depending on the feature you use, information may be processed by hosting infrastructure, our database provider, email delivery, conversational tooling (for example Botpress), and AI providers (for example Google Gemini) including where those services are located outside South Africa. Transfers and agreements should be reviewed with your privacy or legal adviser.
Your rights
You may have rights under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), including to access, correct, or object to certain processing, and to complain to the Information Regulator.
